PacBrake no work

Posted that on Sat. I had run through some water and lost my voltage meter but had no problems with anything else till today, my pacbrake wouldn't work. I have power to the solenoid and unhooked the vacume cylinder and was able to move the exhaust brake freely. The vacume cylinder is stuck in the closed position and won't move. Any Ideas? DW

Have you checked the voltage to the vacuum solenoid when your switch is activated?

If you are getting power then you can take apart the solenoid with a small allen wrench, spray a little wd-40 in it. and try again. if that doesn't work buy a new solenoid. i just went throught the same thing. I ended up calling Pac Brake and they told me to call Gateway diesel in Penn. they sent me a new on for $70. problem fixed works great.

Called Pacbrake and they had me download a cleaning procedure from their website and that fixed it. DWest

When cleaning the solenoids DO NOT USE WD40, clean the sol with a good cleaner and put it back together dry so it moves freely this will insure longer use between cleanning periods
