A search of PacBrake and other web sites failed to produce information about servicing my exhaust brake air valve. I did find some for spool valves but nothing that related to the type I had. After seeing a few other posts, I decided to prepare my own summary about the process. I'm posting it here in the hope that other members might benefit.
