I did a search, and there weren't a lot of posts on the Bedlocker, and the best thread was 4 years old.

Does anyone have a Bedlocker, and what are your opinions of it? How water resistant is it? Can I get an over the rail spray bedliner with it?

Thanks!

I like mine... only minor leaks, but I don't have the seal in around the tailgate. Only complaints would be that I had to trim the rail a bit on both driver and passenger side near the tailgate to install and now after 2 years in the AZ sun the rails are losing their paint/anodized coating. The cover itself looks great with only minor fading if any.

I think an over the rail spray bedliner would work just fine. I had the intent to do that when I got mine, but still haven't done it and it works fine with the under the rail drop in factory/dealer liner.

Yeah... it's sitting on the shelf waiting for me to get the spray in bedliner done...

Does it work well from there? :-laf

I'm thinking (I don't do that often) that I'll keep the Bedlocker retracted most of the time it's sitting to prevent the fading that some people have complained about. Does that sound like a good idea?

Also, would there be any problem using a bed extender with the Bedlocker?

Thanks!

I have the seal on mine, the only water that gets in is at the side of the tail gate, About 6" spot on each side is wet, but I had my stake pockets holes covered on my bed sides also. The only fading I had was the alum. slide rails on the sides I just repainted them. Top is great!!!!!!

Same here... (except I haven't repainted)

Well, I went to have it installed, and part way through, they realized they had the wrong rails. Apparantly Mega Cab rails are shorter than other short beds. I found it hard to believe, but I guess it's true.
