DD,

I need 12 valve Fass return line info.

Im installing a 45PSI kit from you guys and the line coming out of the fass is going directly to the injection pump. No stock stuff left.

I need to know how you typically would maintain 45PSI inside the pump.

I assume the stock overflow valve isnt going to cut it.

Do I need to buy a aeromotive style regulator for the return line?

Why is the kit sold as complete, yet gives you nothing to deal with the injection pump return line, or the injector return line?

If you guys could work another port in the fass unit and have a built in regulator for the return line to maintain 45 psi through the system that would be nice.

I remember reading somewhere that you just cut the banjo fitting off and connect the injector return line to the existing return line to the tank.

I have heard that FASS says the kit is complete but it really isn't.

I just ordered an AIRDOG 12v kit, because of the GREAT reviews and GREAT cust. service they have. Plus it was almost $300 cheaper for a COMPLETE kit. Its the same as the FASS 1010 kit that removes all of the stock stuff.

Also, I have read that the stock overflow valve is just fine.

That is what i did on my truck, however I used an aeromotive a-1000 pump and regulated return setup. My confusion comes into play with htis fass system on the return side. If its free flowing back to the tank theres no way 45psi will be maintained in the pump. The factory overflow opens at around 30psi, no?

HAh i had the same dang problem on mine. . return fuel line from injectors was cut to return fuel to tank. . simply add a rubber hose and fitting to the return injector and the return line to tank, eliminating the stock fuel filter unit. . be careful for leaks!!!!!!

8 days to get replacement pump? if we can run truck by bypassing pump on common rail cummnis why spend 450 plus in first place?at least the stock junk lasted 73000 miles 8months on anew fass you have be kidding.

I might be dumb but why are you 12valve guys switching to electric pumps? When most 3rd gen guys would love the reliability of a mechanical pump?
