It has been awhile since I've posted. I just got back from 6 months at sea. Now, I'm puting some goodies on the RAM.



I'm installing the Painless wiring kit inside the cab, where is the best place to mount it?



Where is the best place to tie into the dimmer switch for A-pillar gauge lights?



I recently installed a Magnaflow 4" turbo back exhaust, sounds great. I had to modify one hanger and the old exhaust was a pain until I got out the sawzall, otherwise the install went very smooth. I also added the Jacobs brake, instructions were great, works great, the only drawback is that it makes too much noise for my wife. :{

welcome back! its been a while since i installed my painless 7 circuit kit, but i think the dimmer wire you want to tap into is the "tan" wire on the dimmer switch. can't help you on the placement of the fuse block, mine is mounted under the hood.

If I want to tap into the ashtray light, which wire is hooked to the dimmer rheostat? Seems like this is much easier to get to than the dimmer switch.

Mike, the orange wire is connected to the dimmer and the black/orange is ground.
