Painless Wiring Kit

just got my order from genos . i got the painless wiring kit. so my question is were did all of yens put the fuse box? its kinda a tight every were. any pics would be nice. thanks for any help.

First, did you get the water proof or the other one. Mine is the outside type and I mounted on the fender well to the rear of under under the battery. One of the better additions to the truck.

On a 2000

Mounted it drivers side,to right(facing truck)of brake assembly on

firewall. On the 2000 it looks like this place was made for it.

2001

There is a place that is almost perfect for it to the left of the brake booster. This will work as long as it is the waterproof model. It also allows for easy access to the battery for power and wiring grommets to get into te cab. I mounted the circuit breaker on the drivers side inner fender in front of the ABS near the brake lines.

One of the best accessories

Mounted mine to the right of the steering wheel behind the knee bolster. The two mounting holes on the fuse box are attached to the metal frame that's closest to the floor. Only had to route two wires thru the firewall. All of my accessories are switched so needed it inside, less wire to run thru the firewall. I'll take a picture and try to email it to you.

i got the weather proof one . just in case. but thanks john. your pic of under the right side of the steering colum . i like that . going to put mine there. i like it in side the truck.
