Hey all,

I just bought my second Dodge QC 2500 LWB Cummins but this time I got the 6-speed because I went through two torque converters on the automatic. Anyway I drove the previous truck 53000 miles in one year without any paint chips, nothing except the transmission issues. I loved the truck that why I got another one. So this one goes the same place the other one did except now I have paint chips in each fender well. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I asked a local dealer here in Burlington and he said that's not anything I can fix under warranty!

So I wanted to see what was out there.

I had a severe problem with paint chips inside and around the edge of the wheel wells and on the rockers. I had driftwood colored rockers. There's another guy in the GLTDR that has thousands of rock chips on his rockers on green paint. I solved my problem by having permatech bedliner material sprayed on the sheet metal inside the wheel wells as well as on the rockers - haven't had a single rock chip since March - and I used to fix 10-20 a month.
