Paint flaw?

My truck is silver grey and the paint is showing "spider webbing" lines in places, around doors, on hood, etc. Anyone had this happen? bg

No, but it usually indicates too thick a paint film.

my 03 has it started on the roof now pretty much everywhere.the paint doesn't flake just has tiny cracks

I believe I have read of the same thing on RV forums on some high end motor homes and from the same era.

Not very clear but his is on drivers side door (closeup) probably 3" away. It's not that bad all over, this is rear edge of door, Seems worse on hood and drivers side of truck. bg

Clear coat failure,strip it and repaint.

its not the clear coat on mine the paint still shines like new the cracks are in the color coat

That is what Bob described, the finish has deteriorated. The cracking I spoke of from too thick a film looks much different.
