Paint for 2001 Piller

Help...

Does anyone know the Dodge part number for interior spray paint to match a 2001. 5 with camel interior? My dealer only shows a dark tan listed for 2001 and I am not sure this is correct. I am wanting to paint a piller mount for gauges to match my truck.

The door post on model year 2000 does indeed have the trim code. However, we're probably better armed when approaching the parts counter if we have the paint code and the part number.

Camel—code RK5 in a 5 oz. spray can is P/N 04864437

Dark Tan—code VK9 in a 5 oz. spray can is P/N 05003524AA

I've found parts counters that can't get from the trim code to the part number.

I removed my stock A pillar and took it to an automotive paint store. They matched it perfectly for $14.
Being kind of lazy I painted it with a foam brush to save having to clean my gun. It turned out perfectly this way. there was no need to go back and spray it.

Your better of going to an auto parts store and matching the paint from the selection they offer, besides, the dealer is going to charge you from $8-$13 for a very small can of paint compared to $3-$4 you'll pay for a regular size paint can at the auto parts store.
