Paint schemes and graphics on 3G

Do any of you guys have custom paint schemes or graphics on your 3G truck?



My blue and silver 95 was such a sharp truck, I had comments about it everywhere I went. People stopped and pointed at it. Truckers talked about it on the CB all the time.



Now I have a new silver truck that is just too plain looking. It draws no attention and looks just like everyone else's silver Ram.



I am trying to come up with ideas to make it look special and not like everyone else's. I took lots of pictures of trucks at the 4 Wheel Jamboree in Indianapolis, but very few 03s had much done to them paint-wise. Any ideas?

)I could use a good idea for covering the scratches above and next to my tailgaate latch handle. (I left the gate down while I moved a trailer. Pintle hitchplate was a little too close )

How about taking one of those big american flags that the floks are putting on the rear window. They're made by www.glasscapes.com and put it on your tailgate, so the whole gate looks like a flag, that will cover the scratches

MYTH #1: Red vehicles get stopped more by the Police... .



Actually I stop WAY more of other colors than I do red..... The Radar or Laser beams are color blind

Here's what I just had done to mine. Now, try to look past the blatant advertising and look at the stripe only. It actually looked nice by itself. Too bad I didn't have my camera at the time.

if you have got a silver truck either a checker flag across the hood and fenders or ghost flames would look good,,,,, i'm not a big flames fan,,,,, but i'n had a buddy in ga where i went to school, he had an 01 1500 sport that was sliver and had black ghost flames on it,,,,,,,,,,,, it look awlful d_m_ good

Yeah, funky looking indeed. That was the whole point. Like I told this guy at the show, it doesn't matter if you love 'em or hate 'em. They still catch your eye and make you look at the truck.



They're actually a simulated beadlock. They aren't real. However I can get you a true beadlock that'll look exactly like that.

The teal ring is aluminum and unbolts from a different ring that gets welded to the rim. The silver domes are optional too.

I won't have any pictures until late Dec. or early Jan. but I have a painter lined up to shoot orange/yellow/white flames on my truck when it gets here.

Here's kind of what I want, just a different color. This truck belongs to a friend and was painted by the same guy who is going to paint mine.

Looks pretty cool! I really like his use of clear coat on the headlights. I can't even see them!

My truck is a white sport, and it looked like it belonged to the local power company when it was delivered. I had a shop two tone it to match my truck camper. They followed the same line the factory uses for the non dually trucks, but left the nose all white. The Mopar running boards were also painted, and the doors were de-badged (if someone can't tell it's a Ram 3500, they probably don't care!). I have an ARE non-window cap, and with the color on the bottom, the truck looks loooooong. It's a different enough look that it gets noticed, but subtle enough that it will probably age well.

Check my tailgate decal that a local print shop made for me. Cost was about 17$. Pic is under KNUTTY and you could reverse the decal if it would cover the "marks" better.
