2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Paint your mirrors?

I was considering having my mirrors and door handles painted but my friend at the body shop is concerned about it sticking. He said it might but it might not. Anyone done it?

yes it will stick ive done mine and about a half a dozen others have done it that i know of, its all in the prep work. be sure to sand them real good with like a 150 paper and prime and sand until there smooth and paint them, they look lot better like
