I wanted to have a Dodge with the taupe interior and not the black one. But when I layed eye on my new beauty, she had everythig I had on my wishlist plus some nice trim outside. So I got her with a black inside.
The other day in my favorite $-store (King Dollar) I found some vinyl spray paint what promised to bond to the orginal door panels.
They had a dark and a light blue. The dark seemed to bee in the range of my blue exteriour. I missed the fabric inlays I had in my old 97 V10 Ram. Everything in one color, the new door panels look cheap.
After cleaning with rubbing alcohol I started the first test spays on the back of the panesl and liked the color. I figured I wanted a two color look, so I removed the things which were to remove and taped the parts I wanted to stay in black because of the more mechanical wear or just for looks.
Here are the results from the doors, tomorrow I have to buy more paint and have to figure out how to remove the dashboard. (any ideas?)
