Painting RS9000s?...

Anybody done this or can give any advice? White shocks on a silver 4x4 can't look too good. 'Preciate it!

I heard it will void the warranty for any Rancho shock. You may want to check on that first...

You could spray undercoating on them. That would hide the white and might help with the warrantee deal...



P. S. They look worse after a few years when the paint starts to go...

My Ranchos were rusted in the 1st year. The warranty means squat. Salt testing is a joke too.

I clear coated the pi$$ out of them & the rears still chipped. I'd guess a quality power painting or rhino'ing them would last.

I painted mine with Krylon semi-flat black. If you need to, you can easily remove it with lacquer thinner, and it won't take off the Rancho paint so easily.
