I did the exact same thing a few years ago, slipped while standing on the tire and put a nice dent in the hood with my elbow. Took it to "Dent Wizard", and 20 minutes later it was absolutely perfect! Even eyeballing along the surface, looking for a distortion in the reflection, I couldn't see anything. I was pretty amazed. I think it cost around $150. That was back when I was still living in L. A. I don't know if Dent Wizard is a nationwide chain or not, but I've heard their radio ads here in Seattle.
Last summer I was washing my truck, and I stood on the tire again. My friend was there, and I said to him, "I probably shouldn't be doing this. Last time I did this, I slipped and put a dent in... " Just as I was saying that, my feet slipped off the tire, and sure enough, I put another dent in my hood with my elbow! #ad

NOW I've learned my lesson! #ad
No more standing on the tires! I bought an RV type wash mitt with a telescoping handle.

You boys sound like you are my kin. Last good one I did was when I had my 95 with dropped receiver hitch. Had a few(wife would say a lot if she knew)beers. My Honda Civic was behind me and I backed into it. Remembered it was there just about the time I hit it. Plastic on front of Honda so it had a slight imperfection. Those things happen when you get older(52)and some beer in you.

I owned a paintless dent company for 8 years... . have changed professions now, but still do work on the side. Sorry, but Florida and CO are a bit far apart! Dent Doctor, Dent Wizzard, etc are all franchises, but beware: the work is done by hand, and your dent is at the mercy of the individual technition... did he start last week, or has he been doing it for 5 years? You may want to get with (dare I say it) your dealership and use his vendor as he will be familiar with Dodge metal.

I had 6 dings taken out of my Impala. Looked good as new, i was amazed, some of the dings i thought would never come out. Charged me 200 bucks, WELL worth the price compared to what a body shop would charge.

my truck will be going to Dent Wizard tomorrow
have plum size hail damage removed the hood,
roof, the whole driverside, bed and windsheildhas a crack in it will be done, the door will be replaced by dodge dealer.
Dent Wizard says it will take a day.
i will let you guys know how they do.

Yes. About $115 to remove two small dings. Still better than a body shop bondo & not matching the paint. My wife's car was almost new at the time so I had to get it done.

So I was climbin up on my Front Left tire this am to wash my windshield when I slipped and kneed my quarter panel. Much to my dismay, I left a nice sized dent in it.

I have some other smaller dents so I think that paintless dent removal is the way to go, but has anyone used any service like this before? Can you make any recommendations for ones in the Denver/Fort Collins Area?

I used Colors On Parade for paintless dent removal on my wife's car to get rid of couple door dings. Made it look like brand new. They are a nationwide franchise operation and may have one in your area.

Yep, it's a nationwide franchise. Dent Wizard removed one huge dent from the quarter panel of my Mustang like nine years ago and the dent was compound... . both dented in and out. I'm gonna take my rig to the Wiz and get the shopping cart dings removed soon. I think I paid 150. 00 for the big dent. It was perfect afterwards. They cover the whole thing up while they work to "hide" their "secrets".

Yep, they (Dent Wizard) told me I couldn't watch. I was thinking to myself, "You don't understand, that's my baby out there!", but I behaved myself and sat in their waiting room reading magazines.
They also advertise that they will come to your house or workplace.

I agree with Chris and Andy, both times (two different 4Xs) I had small dings taken out by Dent Wizard, they wouldn't let me watch. Oh well, who cares anyway? It emerged as good as new and it was relatively cheap. Both times the dents were 100% removed without ANY telltale signs or imperfections (under all light conditions... and one of the vehicles was black).
