Paramount boats?

I've bee looking at purchasing a boat ever since last summer when I bought my sea-doo xp and spent a ton of time on the water. I want something that I can take to the lake,river,sound or bay, and ocean. So I figured on a center console because they are cheap,plenty of them around, and very versatile I also looked into older performance boats but they aren't as practical.



Last summer I found a few PARAMOUNT center consoles for sale and looked into them for a little while. Never got to see one in person but they look to be good quality, pretty fast(70 mph with 225hp on a 21 footer), and affordable. Anyone ever owned one or seen one in person?

Paramounts are nice... depends on your price range. Are you looking for something new/newer or older and cheaper?

I never heard of Paramount. But I have owned a center console in the past... a 20 ft Sportcraft. Very versatile, easy maintenance. A nice choice.

But be warned... . they lead to "biggerboatitis". :-laf

Paramount is quite popular down in FL and the SE. Again, price is a big factor, but he could also look into Conquest, Concept, older SeaCrafts, Spectre, Cris Craft, Wellcraft (Scarab), Avanti and plenty of others.



And I hear ya JLeonard on the "biggerboat-itis"... my tunnel boat led the way for it's big brother after a few years...

I want something older and cheaper, under the 22' range. I've looked into older checkmates but they only hold about 5 people#@$%!. I would love a scarab of some sort but they seem to still bring some money, and can't really find one in the size i'm looking for. Concepts are FAWKIN sweet boats but can't find one in my price range yet.

I'm still young so biggerboatitis won't affect me just yet, But I can see myself in a 38' cigarette
