Parking Brake Question on '01

I've got a question about the parking brake on an '01 ETH/DEE. It has 4 wheel disc brakes. How does the parking brake work on this truck, is there some kind of miniature drum brake that is only used for parking or do the rear disc brakes have a mechanical provision that allows for a parking brake?



I'm getting a new truck and the service manual is on order or I'd look it up myself.

You're right, a miniture drum. Sure would hate to depend on it for an EMERGENCY brake, my go-cart had bigger shoes. It is officially called "parking brake", sure glad the normal brake system is 100% dependable Hmmmm, the exhaust brake is looking better
