I purchased th PARKING PARTNER FROM GENO'S. The small picture in the catalog identifies our CTD application. I recognize I was "only dreaming" when I thought it was 'made specifically for' my CUMMINS. Silly me.

Has anyone purchased and/or installed one ? I want to install it behind the mirror (like in the catalog). With no past history in the TDR regarding this product, I thought I'd start here before I got back with Geno's Garage. It seams to be a slick setup. All comments appreciated. THANKS :D :D Jim

I got one from my Dad as a gift for the new truck. I've been searching for anyone who had installed one previously, as the instructions were very vague as far as mounting goes. Since I couldn't find any, I went ahead and took the plunge. All connections are weatherproof Deutsch type, and all wires are encased in a shrink tubing. Mounting the sensors was a little tricky as the brackets they give you don't give much options. I ended up modifying them and attaching them to the flush mounted bolts on either end of the bumper for the time being. When I get brave enough, I think I'm gonna drill the bumper and flush mount them. Its performance is just as it claims. It's turned on when reverse is engaged, and it starts counting at about 5 feet and change. When it says 0. 0, I found that the bumper is about ten inches from the object. I spent a couple hours doing this so that I could hide all the wiring amongst the OEM wiring harnesses. I'm very satisfied.

Mine works fine, wound up making brackets and attaching to a bumper mounting bolt on either side of bumper to get the required distance apart, used the sticky back tape and attached to windshield next to mirror, also installed a cutoff switch so as not to beep all the time when backing up trailer. .
