Man there is just something about these tires I love! I'm wearing through my current tires pretty fast with my racing... . just wondering if anyone has recently used these tires?

#ad

I'm looking at these :

SIZE

33-12. 50R-16

Load Range

E

Section

Width

12. 40

Tread

Width

10. 40

Rim

Width

8-11

Outside

Diameter

33. 3

I'm just wondering if anyone else has got them? How do you find a speed rating on tires? Some places list them..... some don't.

I've never seen those before, but I have to admit their pretty tough lookin'! Where did you find em' at,what other sizes do they have, and how much are they compared to BFG's?Is it safe to assume that they are radials?

Rob

P. S. If you call the manufr. I'm sure they can tell you the speed rating.

Cool,10 ply!

They probobly have a pretty ridged sidewall, that will handle the weight better I think. I get about 40,000 or so out of my BFG 315's,wonder what I could get out of them. I'm going to check their site for sizes.

Kat, GKR (semi-infrequent TDR BB poster) has a set of these on his '98. 5 QC 4x4 SWB Ram... only they are a little bigger at 36" (or so):eek:

He told me they were far better than anything else he has tried. He also noted that they took quite a bit less weight to balance than other tires he has run.

As John stated above, I've been running the 36/14. 50/16 since Oct. of 2000. I've been very happy with them. They are checked for roundness and x-rayed (?) for defects before leaving the factory. At least that what the adds say... ..... all I know is that they are smoothest riding big tire I've been able to find. I've had Swamper SSR (second best) Swamper SX, TSL Radial, & Cepek Fun Country Radials. The PJ's took little weight and have held there balance since I mounted them. The letters wear off the tread pretty quickly on the rear of a Cummins truck, but after that they have been holding up fine. Tire noise is about the same or a little less than my old BFG Mud Terrians for comparisons sake. I'm still impressed with how nice they ride and drive down the road.

They also are very true to advertised size (like the SSR) unlike many of the tire manufactuers.
