Part Number

I need the part number for the transmission cooler line that is now a recall. I installed the front or short cooler line with a port in the line for a temp sensor and had to send my stock line back for a core and now they have the recall.

Or do ya think the dealer would do the recall without my truck having the stock line? The line they use now has a piece of rubber hose in it for flex since the solid is creating problems.

Modify it yourself

I would just cut out a section of tubing and install the flex tubing. Once you've altered the line, the line is no longer covered by the warranty.



FYI: I installed the trans temp sending unit right in one of the ports on the right side of the transmission.

There is no parts return requirement for the line. Only a complete transmission has to be returned if it is contaminated.
