Attention: TDR Forum Junkies OK, I know the topic of K&N and other alternative air filters has been beaten to death on other posts. I'm not trying to reopen the debate, and I've already used the "search" feature to access the old posts, so I can narrow this down to a simple question:
Does anyone out there have specific part numbers for "dry" replacements for the RE-880 style of filter? I'm going to look at C Schomer's solution of the Fleetguard AF942M, but since that seems to involve several modifications to the filter plus RTV or other sealants, I'd like to know some Racor, John Deere, or other part numbers if anyone else has already gone on a similar quest.
