Here is the number off of the work order when mine took a dump,#5012991-AB. There is also a number on the same line which might be a Cummins number, #14029053.



DO NOT LET THEM DO THE TSB REFLASH RELATED TO THIS!!!!

Torque, I just noticed the truck bios are gone, my truck is a 2001. 5. Also, I don't know if the sensor they installed with the reflash is different than the original one. I vaguely remember the stealer saying it was, but that doesn't mean a whole lot, if you know what I mean.

mark--is this a dificult job to do yourself? havent even called my stealer yet, but it seems to be working ok right now... not like it was.....

Mine is at the stealer now, my front wheel bearing and hub let go yesterday morning on the highway.

$82. at the local Cummins parts house

The correct part number (revised by Cummins) for a 2001. 5 is #3408484. There are two styles, that is where the wiring plugs into. One is round and the one you want is kinda oval. $82. 00 is about the right price at Cummins, Brattain Internationl etc. Some will charge you less but add a $30 returnable core charge.
