parts question

Who has the best (cheapest) source for a fuel solenoid? My local dodge dealer(ray brandt new orleans) wants 167 bucks. Is it me or is that insane? copterdoc thanks in advance for the for the help

I didn't think 167 dollars was cheap, so I have been digging. usdieselparts.com has them for 80 bucks. Has anyone seen a better deal?

Make sure its for a VE44 bosch pump!!!!!!!! I know of others out there that won't work on our pumps.

My VE schematic shows it the fuel solenoid as:

"solenoid-operated valve", order number, 1-467-414-411, along with that are the internals like "torx fillister screw,cover plate, seal ring, adjusting pin, retaining pin, retaining bracket, timing device piston, sliding piece, compression spring and one or two others. Each has an order number, but I would assume you could get it as an "assembly" complete with everything.



BTW, I've also updated my "picture galleries" by adding a VE pump schematic and parts order numbers lists. It's labeled VE pump gallery.

Sorry about the quality of the lists, it's the best I could do quickly. If you need me to look for a name or number just let me know, I'll be glad to have a look for you guys. .
