Anyone have aftermarket precooler experience?

I need to replace a relay switch that is part of the Jacobs Exhaust Brake system. Sounds easy right? Wrong, Jacobs says that it's a Dodge/Chrysler part and Dodge says it's a Cummins part... I have done some research on the internet and found crosses for the original part number the problem is that each distributer wants me to purchase 110 of these bad boys. They only run about $5-$6 each.

Can someone help me find a retailer that can ship a (1) of these for a reasonable price? Here are the part numbers:

On the relay switch: VF28-65F14-SO1 (Tyco part number)

Which crosses to: 4-1393297-5Oo.

(this switch is pictured on page 25 of the Jacobs Brake Installation Manual, which is downloadable on the internet. Figure 24a, extreme lower left. )

If it's just the relay you want, those from Radio Shack or any parts house should work just fine. During my experiments to changeover from the stalk switch to the dash mounted style like the '07s I bought several. Forget the part number and just compare the circuit diagram of the relay. It's a pretty low current demand so most any rating would be adequate.

Thanks! I want to also try and get the shroud that comes with those part numbers and avoid having to take the internal relay out of the shroud. If I do that there is a good chance that it will not fit snuggly into the original shroud and leave the relay more vulnerable to the elements...

I just looked at the relay in the truck, and a Bosch relay in my tool box. Different spade sizes, but if all else failed you could use a Bosch. (same numbers for the spades). Try the shack as stated above.

Good luck.
