Passenger air bag switch

Does anybody know if you can get the passenger airbag switch in the 04's? There are quite a few 04's around me in our little circle and none of them have it. There is one common factor here though everybody here got beat by the dealer and got slt's[not that there is anything wrong with that] instead of slt Laramie. Is it a Laramie option? The reason I'm asking is because my first kid is on the way and the 99 deserves a new home. The 99 will stay if they won't put a switch in because the back seat is freezing and the front heat is nothing special in all the 04's that I've drove.



Chrysler will not dictate to me which seat the little squirt will ride in.

I believe that "by law", you can only have the turn off switch in a regular cab.

Incorrect, If you remove the dash pannel, to the right of the radio, there is the AIR BAG wire harrnes that is pluged in to the back of the dummy air bag cover plate where the key switch would go, I would imanage like everything else, after adding the switch then you would have to have the dealer do some programing. Now on the other hand do you realy want to mess with the airbag circuit prior to the dealer doing the program????

Airbag cutoff switches are only installed in vehicles that can't accept a rear facing child seat in the rear-including the backwards opening door extended cab trucks that Dodge does not make anymore.
