Recently noticed that my passenger headlight was very dim. Figuring it was the bulb, I just replaced them both. That side is still dim. I'd say it indicates a wiring problem. Anyone seen this before to give me a place to start looking?
Given that the truck in KLockliear's profile is a model year 2001 Ram that uses switched ground in the headlight circuit, your fix would do one of the following, depending on which wire at the plug was connected to ground:JJohnston said:Definately ! Check the ground. It would'nt be a bad idea to add another one. The original is probably corroded. If you can , solder a new wire to the plug and take the other end to a bare metal ground. That should solve it.
