2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission passenger side tow mirror

Hey guys,

I have some questions on the guts of our big ol' flip up tow mirrors. When I bought the truck the passenger side mirror had been busted a little (looked like a bird smacked it or something) but it was in fine working order. Well, I tried to adjust it the other day so my girlfriend could see out of it AD idea!) and it was really hard to move and was subsequently broken in my efforts. I noticed that the mirror is not glass and was wondering if I could just rplace that part or needed a whole new item? If I need the whole thing, where could I find just the passenger side?

According to Dodge, they are not rebuild-able. I believe some folks on here have taken theirs apart before though. If you check eBay, there's a guy on there selling them at a very reasonable price.

i have a complete pass side left over after makeing my power heated tow conversion. due to the fact i did the conversion after smacking the driver side when i first bought it. i bought bothsets new from the dealer and i pass side is still in the box if your interested

are the fold up mirrors interchangable for both late second gen and third gens. I have 02 as you can see and have only been able toi find third gen units on ebay.
