Thanks, TDR Staff

LOOKOUT!- SIRCAM is on the loose!

Best way to keep up on posts

The private user password for TDR Member Exclusives has been published on a non-member visable forum. Local and Regional Chapters > OHIO TDR MEMBERS. SO it needs to be changed.

I found that post using the search feature—of course I had to already know the password to do that search.

I had the same thought Rob. If we were able to use our own user name/password combination it would eliminate some of the confusion that has occurred regarding acces to the members only areas & there would be less reason for some well-meaning/non-thinking member to breach our security system. Also, if someone were so dense as to post their own password, imagine the mischief!

EDIT - Just checked—that post is gone.

That feature is being worked on actually. Last I heard Ken was trying to do something of that nature..... where if your logged in you can access those features without retyping a username and password.

So just have to wait and see.

Another thing to remember is that if you access this site from a computer at work or some other computer that may be used by someone else remember to log out at the end of the session. If you don't the cookies cause the system to think it's still you and let whoever is using the computer into anyplace you are allowed to access.

I've been in the computer racket for over 35 years so I consider any password violation as serious!

You're Correct Kat

Kat, you are correct. We've moved it to the top of the to-do list to reconfigure a few things that will allow your unique username/password to give you access to the TDR Members Only area. We'll get this completed asap.

Thanks.

Re: You're Correct Kat

I am a new user and I am lost. I can seem to get into any thing and what do I go to read Articles?

Thanks Rich
