Patching plastic fuel tank

Anyone have any experiences/suggestions about patching a puncture in a plastic fuel tank on a first gen truck?

Look for a aircraft repair shop. You need some fuel cell sealer. This is two part epoxy based.



Clean the tank. Make sure there is no liquid on eather side of the hole. Inside or out. The apply as needed. Let set for 12 hours or so. You should be set to go.



If the hole is a large one. You might need to put a patch on it. Then use the sealer.
