Payload question

I have a 2006 Mega 2500 and I am doing the math for towing both of my trailers..... what I am wondering is do I include the tongue weight of the trailer in the payload capacity of the truck or is tongue weight over and above the payload... . I'm confused Help!

Tongue (hitch) weight is part of the total payload. It's a killer for us with 5th wheels and gooseneck trailers.
