Can YOU keep a secret? Canada can!

Right this moment the PBS program NOW has a program on the big refineries,

DO you know there is a refinery in calif. that is closed and not producing.

Internal memos on keeping prices up all the wau back to 1995's

all kinds of info making your blood boil!

I watched that also , here they repete on sun and monday, that program and frontline are about as good as it gets for regular programs, wish there were more.

Boy are we getting screwed! Just got done seeing it.

Oil companies say that refineries are losing money. But actually are making 20 to 30 million in profits. So are they lying to the IRS also? Where's the FTC?

No vote from me, for any one's campaign paid by big oil!!!

Exxon Mobile made 9 Billion in the 3rd quarter. Real shortage there.

Again I say the demand is artificially inflated due to a shortage created by the oil companies. They shut down the refinery in Cali and are most likely cut back production in the remaining plants to create an artificial shortage... .

SORTA strange all those Congressmen and Senators doing all that "investigation" into oil company profits never seem to catch those programs on TV - or read the MANY supporting media articles... ;)

NAHhhhh - they're WAY too busy cashing those "campaign contribution" checks from oil execs to spend time watching TV... :(

Of course it doesn't squeak enough, as soon as it starts to squeak loud, gas prices drop. Of course because the truckers and other major users of diesel have to buy, diesel follows slowly.

Does anyone remember seeing any stations out of fuel, or long lines at the station? How about rationing?
