Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) PCM: 24 valve vs. 12 valve

Anyone have knowledge of whether there's a difference in PCMs from the 12 valve to the 24 valve?



Specifically, will an aftermarket electronic transmission controller for a '96 (12V) work on a '99 (24V)?

Can't say for sure, but I'm guessing that since the 24V PCM also has to talk to the ECM there's alot of difference.
