PCM Flash?

On 15 Jun 2016 I had my fuel filters replaced and the dealership also did a PCM Flash (Software 1) 4275086-AD, Label Gen 14086100. This must have come out since 4 May 2016, which was the last time I was at the dealership to get the R46 recall done. Anyone know what this flash is for?

There is a long list of dtc's that the flash is designed to correct for as well as changing some faults from 1 trip to 2 trip faults

It is best to stay up to date on the software as new issues arise the engineers are working to stay ahead.I see trends on dtc's then we get an update so in my opinion they are a plus as a rule

Had that flash done three weeks ago on my 14' 2500. I took my truck in due to the DEF warning message came on. The flash took care of it and have seen improved mileage since.
