Well we installed the 275 RV injectors in my truck this morning.

I have never before worked with a set of directions that were as specific, simple and easy to fallow. About a two hour job.

I could't get a good 0 to 60 read because it now lays about 75 feet or better of rubber. And no 4 whl drive starts for this dude, because I am taking it to Alaska next week if I don't break it.

But it sounds different, cruises with less boost and less EGT's and I can now lay smoke on a Bicyclist if I want to.

I resent that remark...

Why not save your smoke for Fords or rice burners? I ride a bicycle and that attitude really pisses me off (frankly, I don't think smoking anyone out is very cool, but at least a car or truck won't tip over). Not to mention that it's extremely unsafe. If you gas me out and cause me to fall in front of the car behind you, you've just basically murdered me. Yes, I chose the correct word since you're obviously planning this out and you should be well aware of the possible consequences of your stupidity and arrogance.



Don't ride on the road you say? Check the laws - bikes are classified as a vehicle just like your truck is. True, we're not supposed to slow traffic down and there are bicyclists just as stupid and arrogant that don't care but does that warrant potentially causing them serious injury or death? Those cyclists are in the exact same category as you - which means that if you said yes to what that warrants the cyclists, then I guess those that you smoke out have the same "right" to put you in harm's way, no?



Yes, this is a flame. Comments like that deserve white hot flames. Don't know if I've achieved that level, but at least when you kill someone, this thread will be out there in cyberspace somewhere to be used against you at your trial.
 
joel... Boy you sure read a lot into a comment, but flames don't bother me. Didn't you read, I said if I want to. Bicycle means its doing a little smoke, not enough to do a car.

You probably do resemble that remark. You are probably one of the idiots that continually ride against traffic on the wrong side of the road. A little smoke may cure that.

Bicyclists should treat riding on the highway like a privilege Because thats what it is. Their fuel tax doesn't contribute one cent to highway maintainence.



joel... have a nice ride, but watch out for traffic, especially diesel trucks.
 
no, I'm one of the idiots....

that does go out and ride with the wackos on the road. I ride WITH traffic, wear my helmet, obey traffic laws, stay out of traffic's way and just try not to get hit by someone reading the paper, talking on the cell phone, eating breakfast and putting on makeup at the same time as driving.



No kidding, sitting up as high as we do, you'd be amazed at the number of people I see READING a paper or book while driving down the highway! Sheesh... .



By the way... riding on the highway is a privilege for ALL of us whether you're in your Ram, on a bike or whatever. The state can take your license away and that makes it a privilege, not a right. And as for paying my share in taxes - well, I'm thinking the damage my 18# bike does is covered by the sales, fuel for the truck, property etc and other taxes I pay.



Believe me, I watch out for traffic like a hawk. Diesel trucks are easier 'cause you can hear 'em coming. It's the yuppies in their quiet luxo-utes that you have to watch out for... and the guys out to smoke out bikers!
 
Not to change the subject but......

I have an injector question. No wait that was the subject.



Jim in your sig it say's EZ. Is that the non-adjustable or the comp? I have a hard time believing that 275 and an EZ would wake up a truck that much. On the 02 we have the EZ and it's quick. On my 01 I have an EZ and DD2's and it didn't seem to make that much difference over just an EZ. Then again it wieghs 11K lbs.



Just curious. I want to perk up the 02 just abit more. Can you run 275 and an EZ with the stock transmission? I know the DD2's are out.

Big White Beast... Thats just a plain under the hood EZ.

The EZ really made a difference 0 to 60.

13 sec. to 11 sec.

The BHAF spools the turbo quicker and cut about . 5 more off, and it would spin about a truck length.

The 275's read about the same or a couple tenths less, but it spins about 75 feet. Looks like when them kids get out there on the highway and play making spin marks.

I could fool around with the start and improve the time, but this is not why I have my truck. I'll see how it hauls the camper on its trip to Alaska next week. Cross my fingers. Mileage is why I put the 275's in.

I have a Edge Comp and was thinking about the 275's. I work my truck and don't want to go to radical.



I have a 48ft gooseneck display trailer that weighs about 18K and reight now I'm driving over 800 mles per week. I have to keep some reliability as well as fuel economy.

I have read book instructions on injector replacement,would like to see more?

Was wandering if you needed any special tolls for the job. Please seed me the PDF
