Hi. I'm taking delivery of a 2015 Ram 3500 DRW CC LB on Monday. Does anyone here know of a link to a PDI Checklist so I can print one out to take with me to the dealer?

Thanks in advance!

Brad

Test drive it and make sure it feels good. If you do not know how something works, ask the sales guy on delivery. Check to make sure there are no scratches dings and dents.

It should have already been performed when it came off of the car carrier.

I found this video which may illustrate the way it is SUPPOSED to happen at a RAM dealer. It depends on the dealer but I can tell you that a dealer inspection is very important to catch any transporter damage before signing for the delivery.

We go over any new big trucks very carefully before signing for them. We are a Freightliner / Western Star truck dealer but the PDI process is very similar.

Ther dealer can provide a copy and go over a list of things with you at delivery. You should have any smart phones that will be used in the truck so your saleman can show you the pairing process.

The corporate website requires a vin to print out the pdi form so i can't really show you an example easily

The corporation has a very good training program for sales specialist. Many product classes both on line and in house. If the sales deparemt has hi turn over of course it will leave less than qualified help

"If you do not know how something works, ask the sales guy on delivery"..........:-laf

Bob, my attempt here at humor is strictly towards the sales side of things and nothing to with the service people......:) While my truck has been back for a few warranty repairs, my experience with the service side has been great. Some of the sales people I have encountered on the lots are painfully unprepared to selll a vehicle or are just plain unscrupulous.

I totally understand Sam. Unfortunately dealerships are a high pressure work environment and the turn over is high. The end result is unhappy employees and the Customer is short changed

Like my salesguy who kept claiming my Aisin was an 8 speed? I should have recorded the conversation and later sued the dealer for false advertising saying the "only" reason I bought my truck was because I needed the 8 gears, and 6 just won't get my <10k trailer down the road acceptably. :)

Or the salesman in Bellingham that said the check engine light was on because the fuel level was pretty low!!!!!!! Engine ran like crap, so something was wrong. SNOKING
