Anyone out there using EDGE A2????

II SPS64 Surge and Air Filters

Has anyone swapped out a PDR-40 for a S-300 varient, weather it be from II, HTT, or any of the many others that are offering the S-300's? If you have, in a single or a twin setup what can you tell me about it? Thanks in advance.

Jeff... you got my number if you want the low down...

Also, Ron A has gobs of real world experiance with the 35/40/s200/s300 variants.

Stay away from that RonA guy. When it comes to turbos, he's a good taxidermist. (Been dealing with him all my life).

Hey ... if you get the low down from DRAG or anyone that you can't post, feel free to pm me or email ... -- email address removed --.

I'd bet there is one of the hybrid combos from II or HTT that spool better AND supply more cooler air ... we just don't hear the good skinny.

Well, where do I start

Jake, I "had" your number and I have no idea where it went, I know Ron is/has a wealth of experience and smarts but if you can believe it the 40 is one turbo (probably the only one) that has not found it way into Rons' hot, big hands!

Go s-300, thank you are you brokering them I learned nothing from that post :p

Ron, all I have to say is that was awesome Oo. , to heck with the turbo I want one of them there things you got ;)

Ponci Sr. , at this point I think everyone who has replied is blowing air :D , the key (I'm not telling you, for you have told me) is not only which is flowing more air, BUT when it is doing it!

Forrest, I will let you know when I learn something... ... please don't hold your breath :-laf , I also think this might be a good time to again show that pic you have of my rear on the dyno, you know where I was helping with the West Nile Virus problem in the greater Sac Valley ;)

Come on guys where are ya??

Gotta Bring this one back for Jeffy Boy...

And here's mine at an idle...

But in all seriousness..... (14hours on the job... can't think, let alone spell)

asking what is better a 40 or s300 is like saying which cummins makes the most power... answer... the big one.

What do you want to know jeff?

How do they compare against each other spool-up mostly but also egt wise, has anyone pulled a 40 installed a s-300 (of any variety) and realized quicker spool-up and lower temps? If so how much of a difference?

A . 8 might, but a . 7 housing will choke. The highest drive pressure I ever had was with a 62/. 7 in my twins.
