HTT stage III

I run the HTT stage III on mine and i absolutely love it, i picked up almost 20psi boost, the reason you might not see acomparason is the the stage III kit converts it to a 40/35 hybrid. the airflow of a 40 and the stregnth of the 35 shaft. i run it on a twin setup and can spool a 100 psi no prob, if ya want my opinion, if ya get an HTT just buy the unit from him and keep your core, the cores 50$ and the units worth more than that as a spare. He does awesome work, (don't get me wrong so does piers) there a couple different guys just in my area that run the HTT. prob, wasnt much help but hears an opinion anyways :D :D

I really like my Stage 3 Hybrid. When I lived in Colorado it was incredible, spooled as good as the HX35 I had on the truck prior but had way more meat in the mid range. Out here, its to small  I think for your situation it would work great though

The HTT hybrid is in my plans. I am lookin' at a Stage III with the 14cm wastegated exhaust housing and a kwik spool upgrade. $968 delivered (I'm keeping my HX35). Both are good turbos (Peirs and HTT), you can't lose either way.

Wondering what is the difference between Piers HX-35 and the HTT Stage III kit?

Which would you go with and why? Anyone with high altitude comments? I did some searching but didn't really find comments comparing the two.

Thanks,

Jason

There are other differences but this is the one most people ask about. Hope this helps

Sticks - what's the kwik spool upgrade, I missed it on HTT's website.

Quiter than a stock HX35 without the silencer ring. About the same as a stock 35 with ring, maybe just a hair louder. Thats with my AFE filter, with a BHAF or a Scotty it would probably be quieter my guess

Jason, if you go Stage 3 HTT I dont think I would go larger than a 14 cm housing if you plan on staying with the Stage 1 injectors and you dont use the comp all that much. If you go or plan on upping the injectors some go for the 16 housing, they are cheap and with a little more juice in the CTD it spools like a mother even without the box.

With my stage 3's I would say the spoolup is a little slower than the HY35 but faster than a stock HX35 on just injectors alone. The meat in the mid level is WAY more fun than the HX35 was. :D

I have no idea. I have been bouncing e-mails back and forth with a guy named Paul at HTT who told me about it.
