Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) PDR HX35/14cm - my review

When I came through Salt Lake a few weeks back the lag with my 16 was there but not too bad, now on a warm day at 9000 ft is will lay on it's a$$ and cover the highway with smoke and egt's are out of control past 3/4 throttle.

When I installed a 4" exhaust, it lowered my EGT by a little over 100º F (I figure close to 130º F at cruise on the flat). The exhaust was the only thing that I changed at the time, so I'm confident on those numbers.



Mactruck - wanting to keep it at 65mph but the truck wants to run at 80mph could get expensive. Sounds like a foot problem. Seriously, is there that narrow a range on the throttle between 65 and 80mph?! I wouldn't think that just going from a 14cm to a 12cm would make much difference. It would be nice to know though.
