Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) PDR hx40 or KSB-1-EX4

My mods are in my signature. I have/had a pdr hx-40 that has given out. Too much end play, boost way down. I don't have time for them to rebuild it so I'm just going to order another turbo. Which one of the two above should I get. I do not want to pull the head so max boost is an issue.

Have you looks the High Tech turbo's HTB2? Should do the job for you and sounds promising.

High Tech won't have any available for at least a few weeks. Unfortunately I can't wait that long. I'm in North Florida and have to get equipment down to the hurricane area asap.

i would just go with a B1. They a pretty strong and i've heard of too many 40's taking a dive. The b1 will give you pretty good air on top end also.
