I know that you can send your Pump to piers to have him work his magic on it, but does he do the same for turbo's?

For example can I take my stock HX35 off and send it to him and have him rework it? Does he do stuff like this? If so how much cheaper would I come out from buying a PDR HX35? Would it be worth it?

Thanks,

Yes PDR will do a RE & RE on your turbo. As for cost it will likely depend on the condition of your turbo when he "opens it up"

You'd be better off to call and ask him personally, that way you've got a good idea if it's the way for YOU to go. He'll tell you to save your $$$$ if that is the honest answer believe me.

PDR 35

I had my stock turbo done @ 5k miles on it. It was 400 for the rework. You probably will see the same for yours but I would call them to make sure.

Mark:

Yes, Piers can "modify" your HX-35! I sent Piers a "stock"

HX-40 and he did his "upgraded mods" to it and the thing

performs twice as good as it did when it was stock!!

Here is his phone number: 1-866-888-9396.

Piers has done a lot of HX35 reworks for quite a few $$ cheaper than buying outright, although I understand the cost has gone up because he automatically does a complete rebuild on every one now. I have the PDR 35/16 combo which I like, but I want to spring for his HX40 which is on sale this month.

Let us know what it costs ya. and also ask him about his dyno day whats the deal? march, april, what? I was excited when I heard rumor weeks ago and haven't heard anything since. Maybe this should have its own post oh well please find out

PDR turbo

Piers reworked my 35-12 last year, put a larger compressor wheel on it and machined the housing for closer tolerance, and mounted a #14 ex. housing, now I can push 45 psi, and it spools quite fast, total cost $600 for machineing, and 300 I think for the exauhst housing, this was 1 1/2 years ago, I have put 75K + on the turbo since, no complaints

The new shop is suppose to be finished in Feb but you know construction !! Could be March/April. My guess is April. It will be the Dyno day that all others try to reach. Burn outs will be encouraged. Try beating him at that. :D :D Good luck.

Mark thanks for the update we all know it will be a PIERSIFIED day to make all others dream about. Thats why I'll be up there to get a little help ruining my tires (if you know what I mean) Push him for March though I'll be in my summer schedule in April and time will be tight.
