Competition DTT Holds the power again!!!!!

Well I just got the install done on a new set of PDR Towing Twin Turbo's you can see them here. http://www.cliffandsandy.com/blairs Twin page.htm

So far things are working out great, I have the boost set at 55lbs max with a stock head gasket and a set of studs to save some money for the guys not interested in getting carried away. This setup is for towing not drag racing, so far I have not towed but couldn't wait to share it with everyone.

The Fit and finish was great no modifications were made to any of the parts I received and it fit perfect. After a few wast gate adjustments I am now able to roll on the throttle at 40 mph and at 80 mph the pyro was at 1000 degrees at 55 lbs of boost. I will keep you posted on the progress and testing.

Like the twins... course, not quite the style I'll have some day, but I bet they'll work great for your application.

On another note, where'd you get the silver battery hold downs? Seeing those, I'm thinkin' that I could take some scrap aluminum (have TONS at school) and make a cool design on the mill... just a little personal touch.

Blair,

I too am running that Banks Twin ram intake and was wondering if you had to bend your injection line out of the way some to clear that nut that holds the heating element inside the rear port?? Mine clears just barley, but I was curious about how yours turned out. Any pics from above that rear intake port would be a great answer. I hope I explained it enough for you to understand what I am talking about. Thanks.

Joe

looking good--

drawson--I can tell you what they are but Blair may penalize me a few hundred HP, so I will let him tell you what they are---it's an extremely clean set up as I've seen them in person--chris

Nothing to special Dee, just a modified PDR 35-14 with a bigger waste gate and an HT3B with a 23 on it. I just can't tell you how happy I am with the fit of this system, it really looks nice. Testing is in progress while I learn how to drive my truck once again.

Yep same problem with the injector line but a little bend and all is good.

I WANT THAT ENGINE!!!!!!

Jealous? Who, me? Nah! LOL :D

How much longer till she gets dropped in Richard? Can't wait to see some new times!

Thanks guys, the idea is for it to work as good as it looks and so far it is. I can't take the trailer out during the week because the traffic is to bad for any good testing but this weekend I will have all the answers I hope.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll have some pictures of my PDR Twin set up. It's halfway between Richard's and Blair's.

Very spiffy! I hate the salt belt.

What I would like to know, is the part numbers for the heater hose fittings, that was a project on mine last year that got put on the back burner. :) They are

Dee,

you need ALOT more air. I have never seen a truck so overfueled in all of my experience around diesels.

I mean that as a compliment!
