What kind of pulley ratio are you running the blower? Will this be for sale soon?

Just curious Oo.

Dave

PS Thanks for the nice head you sent down to Montana, among other items. I was very impressed with it.

Easy on the head thing. My rib's are just healing from laughing so hard from the other post. :-laf

Prolly be fun light to light, but I think it will just be in the way for higher rpm big power, and who needs the extra HP drag from the belt?

I think a properly tuned set of twins(good chargers, not 40 s and 3s! ;) ) could beat it. Using a Super Charger is like turning back the hands of time in technology.

Looks cool as hell though! :D

Reckon we will find out if this is a step forward or a step back soon, huh sleddy?

Now If i can ever get my flux capacitor to work on my truck- we will go back in time :-laf :-laf

How's that a step back in time? You wouldn't compare a Cummins to a Detroit would you? Give a guy a break, Piers is doing what he has always done best, trying things out others haven't. How will we ever know what can work better on the engines if you don't try it out?

What kind of numbers did that throw on the ol' engine dyno Piers? What are the advantages/disadvantages to using a blower? Great to see you up to no good as usual! :)

Using common sense is a good start..... LOL ;)

It makes good sense to me..... Instant boost! As you may or may not recall... . The Detroits had a passgeway in the supercharger that would open when the turbo boost exceeded the supercharger boost. So..... If the supercharger is good for 22psi lets say... . that's pleny to get the thing rolling... . then throw that Train turbo from your other thread in the bed of the truck... . and let'r spool! :-laf :-laf Ok so may not quite that big... But I'd be willing to bet he can use a MASSIVE set of twins!

First he gives great head, now he's Setting up a nice set of bolt ons..... What is this guy gonna think of next?! :-laf

Sleddy, you negativity is starting to wear, even on me. I'm not selling it, I just thought it was interesting & I wanted to try something & show a picture of it to the gearheads, that find this kind of thing interesting. Never said it was for sale, never made a sales pitch. No one has done this... at least not to my knowledge... ... . course I'm sure you'll come up with some back east bs that it's always been done, just kept secret so us dummies wouldn't copy it, so keep your ;) and comments to yourself for a change. I'd say don't post unless ya got something nice to say, but that would take your 4000+ post count down to less than 2 posts ;)
