After searching thru the archives, and looking at the Edge website, it looks like if I add the PE onto my EZ, I will get more torque, and not any more HP. . This plus my BDII's, and disabled waistgate. I should have a ton more torque down low. . This is what I,m looking for. . Have a bigger turbo on the way, plus now looking into a bigger exhaust. . I read a post awhile back, I think from Joe D. , that a bigger exhaust isn't necessary untill you reach about 350/375 HP.

i think I,m close... Don't have an interest in dynoing my truck, I think it's too hard on them. The hot PE, I can turn off for towing, at least thats my thought. . Yes, I do have Bill K's TC/VB, so I,m OK there.
Any thoughts would be very helpful.

This BOMBing thing is CRAZY!, I just wanted a diesel to get better mileage, I had no idea, I was creating a monster... Do I need to look into a good 12 step program? #ad

Um if you add a PE you will be adding HP. The EZ, PE, BDII's will put you close to if not over 350hp. Who told you the PE won't add any HP?? It attaches to the injection pump wire and interfaces with the signal therefore turning up the output of fuel which in turn increases HP.

My Hot PE is 50hp, 80hp, 100hp in each respective level. Also when you change the power your shift points will change.

Colin, I was wondering if you thought that the previous posts on the PE/EZ together with the ETH will not add much of a gain over the EZ alone. The ETC (your truck) is a different animal and will respond with a huge gain of HP and Torque if you piggyback the PE to the EZ (actually, the correct method is to hook up the PE to the map sensor, then the EZ to the PE, this, according to Edge). Yes, you could then run with the EZ always on and the PE when you want, with just a push of the button.

Scott and Eric,
Thanks for the replys.
What I,m asking is this... According to the Edge website, the PE on #3 adds only 50 HP over what the EZ gives, but it adds a tremendos amount of additional torque, which is really what I,m after... . So Eric, are you saying I'll get an additional, 50,80,100 hp over the EZ?... . Thats not what the site graphs show... but they do show I'll get gobs more torque... Back to the exhaust ? , It sounds like both of your comments are pointing to the changeover to 4 in..... I,m not afeard, just wondering about system compatability...

you will see increase in both torque and horsepower with the combination. I've used two different Dynojets and the numbers are within a few HP and FtLbs/Tq of each other. There is a big difference in the way the boxes are configured. These numbers are from "MY TRUCK" and may differ from others. You need to take into consideration the HX40 that is on my truck which adds an average of 25HP.
