I had an EZ in my truck for . . like... 28K, that and a coupla' other goodies.

It was good, very nice driver. Sold it.

PE Comps Likes.

1. Adjustibility

2. Makes me feel like a "Man " again.

3. More horsepower

4. More torque

5. Makes me feel like a "Man" again

6. Once again on the hunt for prey... Big or small

7. Ease of install

8. Makes me feel like a "Man again"

9. Same fuel mileage (crappy still) but at least, it's not worse.

10. More horsepower and torque

Dislikes.

1. It'll burn up a set of tires, in a heartbeat, if you let it.

2. Wish it had the readout in #'s instead of itsy bitsy leds

Can't stay out of the pedal.

It's only been a coupla' days, so I imagine I'll get used to it... . like I did the EZ

#2/2 works for me just fine with my other goodies for now.

Just some observations...

I found I get better mpg now that I added my blue box. But only becouse I have to stay out of the pedel so I dont lose sight of traffice behind me. :D

The best part is smoking people out. I had a gang banger j walk in front of me a few days ago. I had to stop hard for him to give him the right of way. And after this he walk by the front of the truck staring me down with a dirty look. Well up went the switch and down went the pedel. He was in a deep cloud. I dont think I could of even seen any hand gesters me probly gave me:cool:

Been there bought the shirt my friend. I was told i was "pi$$ing off the general public with my big smokey truck:p "

i can't think of a single bad thing to say about the comp. heck i can turn it down so my truck is somewhat driveable in town or i can turn it to luner eclipse mode. :D

and it's hard to find a nicer set of guys. brett, taylor and aaron will go above and beyond for there customers if there is ever a problem. go figure great co, and a even better product.

Colin , are you going to try your new goodies out at the track on the 16th,be interesting to compare trucks againsounds like we both have the same upgrades again. Ian

I like the way my truck drives at 5x5. It's just that I feel sorry for the followup crowd at stoplights. I think some of the accidental clouds I've blown are still there if you look for them.

"Dad - you just smoked that car!"

"Oops - I didn't mean to do that!"

"RIGHT, Dad!"

So I drop it down to 4x3 and sigh. My kids think I need a custom license plate that says, "PUFF".

It's worth every penny though every time I run down another 5 liter Mustang. I'm a converted Chevy man, but there's still nothing more satisfying than whooping a Ford.

Problem is, the Comp box was the single most expensive upgrade to the truck yet. I was lucky, but I don't feel lucky. So I had to invest in a Valentine One;)

What are the differences between the Edge Comp box & the Diesel Dynamics "ultimate fueling module" ? They seem pretty similar ? Just wondering because I am upgrading this summer ... .

Ian,

Pretty sure I'll make it.

What I'm trying to figure out right now, is why the truck runs so strong on 2/2..... maybe the combination of my few mods make everything come together... . whereas a higher setting really needs a bigger exhaust, or turbo... .

GEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZ!!!

I thought I was done..... This is more than a daily driver, it's my work truck.

Colin

Colin,

I had the same observations ,mine seems to run better on 3/3than 5/5 for some reason. Hope you can make it ,shall I bring my alarm clock so you dont fall asleep at the light again, hehe. Ian
