Competition Dyno update w/DD3's

Competition 1/8 mile times

Six Shooter,, long time no see.



Yah,, I'm still not sure why my truck was so hard to get restarted after the injector install.

With DD3's, PE COMP, big turbo, and NOS 500's should be easy,, without NOS,, Low 500's, high 400's shouldn't be to hard.

I'm looking for 475 towing RHWP and hoping to ~550-575RWHP for the track.

I'm making 420-440. . haven't dynoed yet. . stage 4s would fix you for over 450 easy. . no NOS. Propane would put you over 500.

I just dynoed yesterday, with DD3's, edge comp & bone stock HX35 ( plus other mods in sig. ) my truck made 447. 4 HP & 977. 5 ft/lbs. With that huge B-1 you guys should'nt have a problem making those numbers, sounds like you're all being conservative with the dyno #'s.

You have basically the same truck I had before the B1 and I made 377/891 . . DD3s, BHAF, PE Comp, 4" exh.

You did not miss anything except the dyno operator was a doing it at a one to one ratio. You gotta get her in overdrive to make more power. Come on down to Dallas on March 16th and we will get it past 450 with ease. I knew something was wrong with your HP numbers when I read them.

We just did a dyno on a truck like yours with stage 2's and Comp and went over 400.

You also have an ETH..... they don't respond as well to the "fueling boxes" as an ETC motor does. I wouldn't expect to see 130hp out of your COMP. I believe you should be over 400 tho... for what its worth.
 
My numbers are before the B1. I'm really suprised at the difference.



70 hpand 85 ftlbs better through an auto!!! I dynoed in 6th so it was OD'd. Something is just not quite right. I'll have to check all the clamps and bolts. . and connections.



My ETH did gain 90hp from the injectors. It should have done better than 75-80 hp gain.
 
Hey Mark..... I got some plans for the April dyno day with you in mind;) How does 500 or so with a stock turbo and no N2O? maybee 550-575 with it... .
 
Hey John, you might wanna spend about 150 bucks and get ya 16cm housing to help with the heat and to get the extra stuff OUT your gonna be puttin IN. (-;

Nice low drive pressures are what ya want. At least lower than the 12Cm housing is gonna give ya.

You will pick up a few ponnies too.

Get ya some banjo bolts ordered up from Genos to help with fuel delivery too. A nice fuel pump would be sweet as well. Fuel starvatioin is not what ya want when chasing 500

Stock turbo is noooooooo fun tho. ;)
