Please take a moment to reflect what this day meant to thousands of service men. Also please say a prayer for God to stir our people to become more unified, proud and diligent in doing what ever we are called to do to keep America free, proud and great.

Also take a moment to say a prayer for the sons and daughters of this great land who are in Iraq doing what is necessary, so that we can sleep in our beds at night, safe from those who wish to destroy our way of life.

And finally I want you guys to know that I'm praying for God to convey a message to as many Americans as possible, That we are under attack at this moment from within our own borders and beyond. We should all learn to guard against any threat against our great country. And not give in to this wave of social engineering that unchecked will surely lead to the destruction of our country.

God Bless America

Thanks

Don

I agree about the attack from within. Everything American has been under attack for years by the '60's crowd, who is convinced THEY know what is best for us.

My Stepdad Jim Reynolds spent several weeks at Pearl Harbor in 1944 in a Naval Hospital. This came about as a result of time spent in the 6th Marine Division which invaded Okinawa and (I think) Tarawa. I still have his wrist tag, with the above information on it, also that a Jap. 7mm Machine Gun Bullet was the cause of his wounds. He was relatively lucky, only got a compound broken leg. He never talked about his time in the Marine Corp in WWII. I only found out when I came across his scrapbook after he died in 1991. He was a good guy.

This was one of my prayer requests this morning!

I had a great uncle who was at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked. I am thankful for what he and everyone else in the armed services did and still do to keep us safe and free.

I also had a Great-Uncle that survived Pearl Harbor. He was on one of the ships that were fortunate enough to leave the harbor December 7th. I had another Great-Uncle that was in the campaign in Burma. Neither of them ever talked about what happened in WWII, and the hardships they experienced during the war.

My father was in Pearl Harbor that fateful day. He was on one of the ships that did not make it out of the harbor. He was on one of two destroyers in dry dock with the USS Pennsylvania. All three ships were sunk.

He was like many vets. He would not talk about what went on during the war. All he would say to us (the family) was he hated destroyers. He was on two during his time in the Navy. Both got shot out from under him. The rest of his time was landing crafts.

God Bless each one, and their families, who has served to protect our Freedom.

I know I might be a bit late by the calendar, but just three weeks ago I got to visit Pearl for the first time. I hope that just saying, "Remember the Arizona" describes the powerful emotions that place brings. 1177 fine Americans are forever intombed there. I couldn't help but notice what to me was also very significant. It seems as if the Missouri is now in position to watch over the Arizona forever. Where it started, and where it ended.
