Peeling paint on 03 Valve cover

The painted logo is flaking off my 03's plastic valve cover cap. I know some people have painted theirs, but at slmost $40k I'd expect better quality. I'd like Dodge correct this - is this a warranty item?

Good question... they might offer to touch it up under warranty if you ask nicely.

My 04. 5 is not painted the same... . It's not peeling, it's more of a powder residue thing... Mine began to fade and blow away the very first time I degreased it... . I guess I could paint it, but it really doesn't matter that much to me... . My guess the dealer will say it's normal wear and tear. You can try a search and see that others have added custom covers and even re-painted them.
