Pemex just released a memorandum to all it's station to refuse to fill any auxiliary tanks on U. S. drivers' vehicles. That doesn't prevent a palm from being greased.

It's not that. Their antequated,nationalized distribution system can't keep up with demand since Presidente Calderon began subsidizing the fuel prices. The Mexicans used to buy ours at the border. Now that it's cheaper down there,it's citizens are buying local. They don't have the technology to extract proven deep water reserves,but just voted to keep Big Oil and all of its expertise out of their waters. It's a matter of national pride the votors said.

So I guess the Mexican government is sick of subsidizing Americans fueling up? Man, I guess we should stop subsidizing the entire country of Mexico, along with all the illegals here then. That will never happen in what is becoming the "United States of Backboneless Yuppies" though. I will have to agree with whoever thinks the U. S. should stop helping the Immigrants, regardless what country they are from.



It would be all for the better if the Mexican Government didnt sell any U. S. Americans Fuel, regardless of Gas/Diesel whatever.





My g/f brought up a strong point, if Pemex opened stations close to Bordering city's, they'd make a Fortune, even if it was . 50 less per Gal.

Pemex is the sole provider of petroleum in Mexico. It's the same system Maxine Waters of Ca. proposed for us awhile back. NICE! I've been down there 400 miles and had the truckers go on strike during Christmas vacation,stranding motorists. I always prepared for that and carried gas containers on my v-dub bus at the time. They always got their raise!
