Is anyone else out there using Pennzoil 15W40 Longlife besides the company I work for in the Cummins 5. 9? We have a 1989 1 ton Cummins with 224,000, a 1998. 5 3/4 ton 4WD QC , and a 2001 3/4 ton 4WD QC - all have been run on LongLife 15W40 since the day they had the first oil change. None have had any problems aside from the terrible post oil change rotten egg / oil smell. We change oil on a 6,000 mile interval (I consider this to long) and use the microglass or stratopore filters. Input anyone?

I have used it with no problems. I tend to switch around and try different oils (currently using Valvoline Premium Blue), but would not hesitate to use Pennzoil again.

AWESOME PRODUCT!!!!

Love those 2. 5 Gal containers as well. .

One 2. 5 gal jug + 1 quart (which goes into the filter) is the PERFECT OIL CHANGE!!!!!

I've gotten it down to the 5. 0-7. 0 Min. change!!!

READY for the pits at INDY for SURE!!! #ad

Anyway. . I love the stuff...
I went "Inside" the valve cover to check the valve lash and found the inside so clean you could eat off it!!!

I was going to change to 100% synthetic . . but I change oil every 3000 RELIGIOUSLY... and I figuired NEW. . CLEAN. . PREMIUM Natural every 3000 beats... letting a synthetic that will have to go for 10-15000 just to break EVEN COST WISE!!!!!

Like any good oil, it carries all of the most recent ratings for diesel engines (CG, CH-4) as well as SJ for gas engines.

Ghostroller, best advice I can give is have an oil analysis done on one after 6000 miles. I use Blackstone, but several are pretty good. That'll give you hard facts for around $20 including postage.
