Has anyone bought injectors from them ? Called them today and got some pricing. They about half the cost of everyone else. Asked them about the rebuild process. Said they use all bosch parts etc.
$1000.00 for all 6 reman injectors and upper gaskets almost seems to good to be true. They got almost 500 google reviews with 4.5 stars. Anyone got experience with them ??

Sort the ratings by the lowest and read the stories. They have a very bad reputation now for a reason.

Very true. I did that. Im just asking if anyone has actually bought from them. I read the good bad and ugly. Im on the fence here. Role the dice or write the check... I just cant get anyone to actually tell me what they consider a " reman ". There seems to be a wide and liberal application of that word in the injection business.

They can't even get antique low pressure IDI stuff right for 6.5TD's. Buying from a known garbage supplier qualifies anyone better how exactly? In this case the shop isn't even an authorized Bosch distributor.

So consider the dice roll: labor to swap bad out of the box injectors out, risk of melting a piston from a replacement bad injector, downtime, how much fun others do not have getting warranty out of the place, and if the absolute lowest bidder is right for you. I get that injectors are only second to an engine rebuild for cost. I suggest cost should be the second concern over reputation. Too good to be true is clear from others. The risk is high and it looks like bad odds.

I do wish the TDR would publish an article on injectors due to the marketing mess, misuse of used bodies with the term gen-new, and what improvements injectors should have on a quality rebuild. It's not fun to sort though and the sticker shock sure makes cheap garbage look good at first.

They have a lot of complaints to the better business bureau against them, look up their complaint section

If you don't use them, try injectorsdirect.com. I just used them for a full set of NEW bosch injectors for my 5.9. New crossover tubes and valve cover gasket too. They were excellent to deal with.

If you dont mind telling, what was the price, or you can pm me it,if you would I'd appreciate it, Thanks, Monte

I don't remember offhand, but the prices are all up on their website. Order online, they ship free, super efficient, with a easy core return packaging too. They provided excellent chat support too, very knowledgeable. I remember their prices being very competitive. If you are going reman then pricing and quality are all over the place.

Thanks, I'm gonna try new when i need them, I'm at 190,000 miles on originals, but i have a couple filters before factory filter

pensacola sells junk injectors,i advise against using them.Ist bad set was dumping soo much fuel it was leaking out of the muffler,no lie, sent them back and didnt trust 2nd set ,had the flowed and 4 were out of spec, poor company and product

oh,by the way this was on my nephews 03,turbo auto diesel in phx.was the shop that tested them and would recommend this shop

I’ve never heard anything good about them from anyone that bought from them. You would think as many members as we have here that if they were any good at all at least one person would speak up and say they hadn’t had a problem with what they bought from them.

Be careful when buying injectors. You will want to make sure they are in fact bosch injectors and not knock offs. I highly recommend BBI injectors. They have over 25 years in engineering and designing. They are the only ones that i push. The support is amazing as well as the products.

on the 2nd set of injectors the tester wanted to see what nozzles they used and of course it was chinese crap, sold me 50hp upgrade only to find out it was a stock injector.Turbo Auto diesel has a sweet test/flow machine,he told me 2 fell in spec but even then he would not let them go out because it was just not right.

i think pensacola realy went out of thier way to earn thier bad reputation.iI work at a ford dealer and we had a new service mgr and a few customers that all wanted to try them, we put in 3-4 sets and they lost time and labor on every set .none lasted more than 3 months. (all were on 7.3 and 6.0 ). i dont understand how companies like them are still in buisness.

I have bought quite a few parts from them, but never injectors. They usually have the lowest price on thing like head studs, tools, etc.

For injectors I recommend Industrial Injection or Gillett Diesel, both in Salt Lake UT.

I bought some 7.3 powerstroke injectors from Pensacola Diesel. Bought the “super kit” with injectors, harnesses, and glow plugs. It was a friend of a friend deal and we were trying to get a truck running on the cheap. The harnesses were junk and fit poorly. One harness had a broken wire in it so we ended up reusing the original 250k mile harnesses. On the bank opposite the bad harness, one injector had a bad solenoid. We ended up swapping one off one of the old injectors. It finally ran well enough, but it was a pain to get to that point.

If I needed some stock replacement injectors for a common rail Dodge/Ram Cummins, I would buy some from Jasper. Before anyone starts flaming, they sell genuine Bosch reman at the best pricing I’ve found. Also good warranty.
