Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) pensacola injectors

before i bought these injectors a post here stated that they were 5 hole and i got to looking at mine and there 4 hole injectors, is this bad? i know the you get what you pay for thing but ive never heard of 4 holes should i return them ?

I believe they are simply modified 370's, and IIRC 370's are 4 hole. I have them and love them. Good bang for your buck. I gained 80 horse on them.

nevermind on the IIRC, (If I Recall Correctly) but did a search on 370s and it appears they are 5 hole, im going to check hole size at work tommarow.

Sounds like you have the Bosch 300 injectors, they are 4 hole. I ran those for quite a while in my '98. They did fine, just that they always hazed briefly when initially stepping on the throttle, but otherwise ran pretty clean. They were not from Pensacola though. Someone else on this board got injectors from Pensacola and found the popoff pressures were not very consistent between injectors. Kinda get what you pay for.

measured holes today and they are 4x. 014 how are popoff pressures measured?

i did a search on 4x14 injectors. and the only ones i could find were lucas prince of darkness injectors but thats the wrong generation of trucks right? how do the pod's flow in those trucks?

Installed

well i put them in and im suprized that they made more power. but they did i dont have a base line but am going to dyno on friday so we will see where I stand. no haze at idle they smoke good accellerating, and heat is up on the pyro. im hopeing for 400h. p. any estimators . im working on getting s300/62/14 and prolly 191 or lazer cut dv's.

Well the results are in baseline was 334/750 installed mack rack plug got 363hp 816 tq best 20 dollars the cheapest horsepower ive ever bought. but im going with NEW ERA 370s or DDP4s plus turbo= 400+
